Dyno Test Night at Technodyne August 17th, 2003
Test Suject: 1984 Nissan 300ZX
Mileage: 217,xxx
Modifications: None
The car is completely stock.
Everything is Nissan except for the NGK plug wires.
Items to test for the night were:
Air Filter Comparison:
- Stock Air Filter
- K&N RE-0810
- DMS Tuning system (RActive Filter)
- Team Green Filter
First pull of the night - Baseline run. - All stock car.
Second pull of the night - Removed filter box and replaced with K&N RE-0810 filter.
Third pull of the night - Removed K&N and resonator and used DMS Tuning pipe and RActive filter.
Fourth pull of the night - Removed RActive filter and replaced with Team Green filter.

Conclusions: The Team Green Filter is more than sufficient for a stock application.
The power improvements were significant when compared with the stock air filter.
While the improvements over the other filters is minor, it is measurable.
And to top it all off, it's cheaper.
Even when you consider the cost of the filter and the cleaning and oiling solutions, the Team Green filter is still cheaper than the generic K&N cone filter.
